Bob Perry

Bob Perry - Executive Chairman

Bob Perry was elected chairman of the Door & Hardware Federation (DHF) in October 2009.

Bob has been involved in the lock and hardware industry for many years. Previously MD of Chubb Locks and Union Locks, he has also been with Assa Abloy for the last 10 years. Bob was chairman of the Association of Building Hardware Manufacturers (which merged with the Door & Shutter Manufacturers' association to form DHF) from 1994-1996.

Michael Skelding

Michael Skelding - General Manager & Secretary

Michael became secretary of the DHF on its formation in 2004, having been secretary of its predecessors ABHM and DSMA since 1987.

Michael has special responsibility for representing members' technical interests.

Guy Ainsworth

Guy Ainsworth - PR Consultant

Guy is responsible for raising the profile of the DHF and building its reputation amongst contractors, specifiers, end users and potential federation members. He helps make DHF members aware of the benefits of their membership by producing regular newsletters and emailers.

Ray Nowell

Ray Nowell - Technical Officer

Ray Nowell is a professional door engineer with over 30 years' service. He represents the UK door industry on matters concerning UK regulations and sits on many standard-setting committees within BSI. He also represents the UK on relevant European and International standards committees. Ray is available to provide advice to members on all technical aspects of industrial doors.

Kay and Sarah

Kay Scattergood (left) & Sarah Meakin (right)

Kay and Sarah deal with the day-to-day running of the administrative side of the federation and are always on hand to provide a friendly, helpful service with a smile
