TRANSFER OF OWNERSHIP OF WARRINGTON FIRE TO BODYCOTE

As of 27 March 2006, ownership of the parent company to the whole Warrington Fire group of companies, ie Warrington Fire Research Group Limited, has been transferred to Bodycote Materials Testing Limited, part of Bodycote International plc.  
 
Bodycote is one of the world's leading independent materials testing laboratory organisations. Within the Material Testing Group, Warrington Fire will remain as a separate operational division.  
 
Geoff Deakin will continue to be actively involved in the business as a director of Warrington Fire for the foreseeable future.
